Info about adding : If you have a profile that is set to private, please email us a message first, we like to know who is asking to be a friend before we ad them. Same goes for bands that are several million musical genre's away from us, please send us a note explaining our connection, so we don't ignore your request. Thanks.

Many Nations, One Underground is the manifesto, for lack of a better word, that Conquest for Death adheres to. Our members reside on three continents and two different geographic regions of the United States but do not let this hinder touring and recording. We've all been listening to and collecting hardcore, punk, thrash, metal, garage and other forms of loud, raw music for years, and despite the differences in style, feel that they are all part of one large family. We'll play a basement show to a room full of punks or a festival to a mass of metal heads and approach them both with the same attitude and energy. Our music is an extension of our long time friendships as well as a vehicle to express anger and emotion, travel, see new places, meet new people and try new foods. The music is the common denominator we share with the bands and people we meet. From these friendships we are able to build platforms to learn about the lifestyles, histories, politics, religions, flora, fauna, and cuisines of regions and countries outside of our own. The lyrics to one Conquest for Death song state, "Metal taught me history, punk taught me geography" and these words are totally true. Playing in a touring, underground DIY punk band has taught us volumes about ourselves and the world we live in.

Conquest for Death draws its members from current or ex-members of What Happens Next?, Assfort, Charm, Artimus Pyle, Say Bok Gwai, Morbid Life Society, All You Can Eat, Your Mother, Love Songs, Colbom, Stichface, High on Crime, Hot Lixx Houlahan, Fuckface, Malachi, People Again, Pisschrist, Straightjacket Nation and a host of others.

In September, 2006 CFD toured the West Coast with Japanese thrash maniacs UG Man and Charm. March 2007 brought the band to Japan for a 3 city, 5 date tour playing with such awesome bands as Gauze, Melt Banana, Vivisick, Fuck on the Beach and more. BREAKfAST from Tokyo Japan came to the States in July 2007 and we did a two week tour (19 shows in 13 days) of the Midwest / East Coast. In October 2007 we embarked on our most ambitious tour to date, to play shows in South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Reunion and Mauritius.

The tour had a few pitfalls; a trip to the hospital, cancelled and postponed flights resulting in one missed gig, being bitten by mosquitoes in a malaria region (so far so good, knock on wood), typical bloody or sprained stage injuries resulting from smashing our instruments into each other, or ourselves, a member being detained by border agents, a bag being pilfered by air port bag handlers with items gone missing,. but these issues and a few others didn't stop us from having an amazing experience. If you met us on tour in Africa, please drop us a line and keep in touch if you already aren't doing so.

Conquest for Death toured New Zealand, Australia and Asia (Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, Hong Kong, China) for six weeks in October / November 2008.
