CONFRONT HATE was formed in the summer of 2003 in Faro, Portugal.
In a spontaneous way and regarding the project's growing maturity, the band focused on a single goal, the recording of their first EP.
In 2007, this goal would be achieved with the release of their homonymous EP containing 5 original tracks, produced and mixed by the band itself
and distributed by Hellxis Records.
Thanks to the EP, CONFRONT HATE was able to show their potential by opening for bands such as Moonspell, Napalm Death, Suffocation, Mnemic,
Sworn Enemy, Agnostic Front, Madball, Devil Driver and to play in renowned music festivals.
In 2008, an opportunity shows up for a music video.
"Psycho Act" was the song chosen for the recording of their first music video, which was shot on location at the Associação R.C. Músicos in Faro,
where the video's production design, set building and filming took place.
Meanwhile, during the post-production stage of the video, two important members had to leave the band for personal reasons, which led to a period
of pause and reflection about the band's future goals.
After a while, it was decided to move forward with the project.
Early 2009, "Psycho Act" music video premiered on MTV Portugal Headbangers Ball, then released on Myspace video channel and also on a limited
edition DVD, therefore reaching the expectations of the collective.
After that, the pre-production of the 1st LP began, as well as the search for new members which brought a new drummer into the current line up.
Presently, CONFRONT HATE is in the studio developing what will be their most important work to the date.
