Concubine was originally a four-piece cover band fronted by John Robinson. The setup included Sean Wild on the guitar and Bill O'Connor, who played the drums. John O'Rourke was recruited to play the bass guitar. In 2003, Mike Fuller joined the band as an additional frontman. This led to a series of difficult disputes and altercations which, in time, caused John Robinson to leave the band.

The group was dubbed Concubine in 2004, when the covers stopped and original songs were written and practiced.

Mike Fuller (Frontman)- Took up guitar at age fifteen to compensate for a lack of social skills. Evolved into an emotionally unstable college dropout, due to years of failed relationships and irresponsibility. A detached, but mostly content individual. Strongly influenced by the college rock scene of the early 90's.

Sean Wild (Lead Guitar)- Comes from a family of rock'n roll musicians. Learned guitar from his father, who spent his share of time on stage as well. Sean's musical interests are more indie-rock-oriented. His songwriting differs from Mike's, and brings a unique sound to the table. Kind and sensitive, Sean is one of the last true family guys.

Bill O'Connor (Drums)- They say that a drummer should always be off in his own world somewhere. Billy is the perfect example of this concept. He lives in a world in which there are no social norms or boundaries. It's difficult to understand him when he speaks, but he is clearly an emotional and sensitive creature. His drums are chosen and tuned with care, to drive the tom-based beats. He listens to a lot of metal-esque music, which brings a heavy influence to the band.

John O'Rourke (Bass Guitar)- Reckless, blue-eyed John O'Rourke is best noted for his quirky sense of humor. He is plagued by his tendency of saying the wrong things, but usually keeps a light heart. John won't stop adjusting his bass licks until they sound exactly as he wants them to.
