C-ROSE

The expression "a rose that grew from the concrete", is a metaphor that has been used to describe phenomenons that occur once in a lifetime. Infused with an eccentric style, a rambunctious sound, and a ying and yang chemistry, the new sensation Concrete Rose is set to prove that their vision for the future of music is truly one in a million. Bridging sounds from Hip-Hop, Rock, Garage, Funk, R&B, and Alternative music, this trio has found their calling as a group destined to take the music world by storm. Concrete Rose has created a style that can only be described as refreshing and fun. Raine and MJ, two distinct but ultimately kindred spirits, met while auditioning for the group Eye Candy, formed by R&B legend and songwriting extraordinaire Kandi Burress, of the singing group Xscape. Raine's unique and cosmopolitan voice and MJ's flamboyant and sultry R&B diva approach were immediate standouts. After a short lived stint, the group was disbanded but Raine and MJ kept close. Together they formed "Concrete Rose". Writing and arranging their own music, the group has already impressed the likes of some of the industries most elite professionals. Having already worked with industry heavyweights such as CKP, The Outsyders, Mars, The Hipnotiks, and Beat Team. It's only a matter of time before the industry takes notice to this new wave of flavorful talent. When asked to explain their style, the group boastfully responds, "we're like a breath of fresh air in outter space".
