Coldworker

Coldworker was formed in February 2006. The band consists of former and current members of bands such as Nasum, Relentless, Ruin, and Phobos.
Musically Coldworker label themselves as full blasting death metal - like a mix of European grindcore and American death metal.
During June 2006 Coldworker recorded their debut album "The Contaminated Void" by themselves in Coldworker Studios (= the rehearsal room). The album was then mixed by Dan Swan� at Unisound and mastered by Peter In de Betou at Tailor Maid.
"The Contaminated Void" will be released on CD and LP by Relapse Records, November 6 (Europe/Japan) and January 23 2007 (USA). LP available worldwide in November.
Close after the release Coldworker toured in Sweden and Denmark together with Arch Enemy and Path Of No Return as 2006's Close-Up Made Me Do It tourpackage.
2007 was an exciting year in the Coldworker camp, as it saw the addition of Daniel Schr�der on guitar. Coldworker performed at the Finnish Metal Expo in Helsinki, and toured Europe together with Dew-Scented and Misery Index. In December the second album was recorded, this time Dan Swan� handled both the mixing and the mastering.
Entitled Rotting Paradise, the album is scheduled for a spring 2008 release.
