Cold Shades In Sanity

Cold Shades In Sanity is a young Spanish band that hails from the city of Castellón, located on the east coast of the country. They formed in 2006 after the break up of several bands and since then they have been trying to develop a unique and personal sound within the saturated scene that they are supposed to be into.



Their line-up was finalized in 2007 with the addition of a secondary singer and a new guitar player. CSIS were finally ready to unfold their chaotic stage show, which is becoming one of the most characterstic features in the band’s live performance.



After almost two years shut away in their rehearsal space they made their debut show at the Affinity fest, receiving flattering reviews and leaving the band with the hope of beginning a fruitful musical career.



ESPAÑOL:



Cold Shades In Sanity nace a principios de 2006, a raíz de las inquietudes musicales de Rubén (cantante), Luigi (bajo) y Prieto (guitarra). Después de pasar por varios grupos que se disolvieron, por fin logran encontrar la ilusión y la afinidad musical que buscan en Yago (batería). A partir de entonces, CSIS concentra sus esfuerzos en encontrar y definir un sonido propio, intentando alejarse de los patrones de la saturada escena musical en la que a priori se los enmarca.



Varios meses más tarde, el puzzle se completa con la incorporación de un segundo guitarra (Nacho) y un cantante de apoyo (Filiu), con el propósito de enriquecer al grupo a nivel vocal y conseguir el caos escénico en el que el grupo quiere convertir sus directos.



Después de meses ensayando y perfeccionando su repertorio, CSIS ha decidido grabar una demo casera de dos temas, convencidos de que su propuesta musical no dejará a nadie indiferente.
