Code Red of Iron Lynx

Julio Jackson aka Code Red was born in the heart of New York City in
Mid-town Manhattan.
Spending his early years growing up farther north on Dykman and Post Ave in Manhattan he realized that the streets were dangerous. At 12 years old his parents moved up to Mt. Vernon, NY on the south side of this Westchester County City. He never felt like he fit in growing up in a prodominately black neighborhood so he used hip hop and basketball to help him fit in during
his early teenage years. He started writing raps at the age of 12 years old and hasn't looked back since. Years later Code Red has refined his musical gifts and talents to start his own record label known as Ready Recordz established in 2005 primarily to help promote the artist Code Red.
During the past years Code Red has recorded hundreds of songs in collaberation with dozens of the Underground Hip Hop's most talented names today.
He has performed hundred of free shows in the local church, community outreaches and countless fundraisers.
Has recorded 7 studio albums and 4 mixtapes including the first Freestyle Album ever. Performed with a live drummer for the Philidelphia Eagles players and chaplain for a youth event which hosted 300 youth.
Worked at Hoop Heaven performing weekly for thousands of inner city youth from all over the nation. He as also independently distributed 5,000 albums and Mixtapes. Also is presently accumilating over 40,000 plays on MySpace and ReverbNation continues to grow into the largest positive Hip Hop figure in the World today.
