Coco Vega is an outstanding Peruvian guitarist. He began his musical career in his native city of Piura. In 1991 he was invited to the city of Lima to give two concerts with the National Symphony Orchestra. Subsequently, he was awarded a scholarship to study at the National Conservatory of Music. He has attended courses given by the masters Abel Carlevaro, Alexander Sergei, Tom Paterson Luis Orlandini and Piraí Vaca.
Coco's virtuosity has been shown in numerous recitals, both within Peru and internationally, in cities that include Miami, West Palm Beach, Boca Raton and Philadelphia (United States), Manchester, Oxford, Liverpool and London (United Kingdom), Wuppertal and Berlin (Germany), Hauset (Belgium), Ginebra, Laussanne and Berna (Switzerland), Madrid and Barcelona (Spain).Aranjuez's Concert with symphonic orchestra of Perú.



He recorded his first album, 'Mi Guitarra y Tu', in 1991; it contained popular works of Peruvian and Latin American composers. In April of the 2001 he released 'Recital Latino Americano' with his own arrangements of Latin American music, including compositions by Chabuca Granda and Ernesto Lopez Mindreau, among others. Playing as a member of the Aranjuez Guitar Quartet, Coco participated in the recording of 3 albums between 2001 and 2003: 'Aranjuez', 'Contrastes' and 'Edicion Especial', containing works of J.S.Bach, Gabriel Fauré, Andrew York, Manuel de Falla and Carlos Hayre, among others.
He has participated composing music for the peruvian movie " Carnada", inaguration of the Company Kimberly in Santa Clara and now he is making music for the work of "Bernarda" of the National Ballet (Peru).
Currently, in addition to furthering his career as a classical guitarist, Coco is pursuing his talents as arranger and composer. He introduces his newThird album MANCORA comprised entirely of his own compositions, with themes inspired in the traditional coastal rhythms of Peru.
