CoCo McMillan is a native of St. Pauls, NC and a graduate of Shaw University with a BA degree in Criminal Justice.

The past 11 years have been a plethora of events for CoCo. She has performed continuously with Gerald Levert (11 years), Miki Howard, Aaliyah, The OJays and many others. Nevertheless, during these high profile performances, CoCo has always managed to keep God first in her life. Her spiritual commitment is so strong that she is now working in her own ministry.

In 2004, CoCo won the "Next Gospel Star Competition" in Raleigh, NC. This experience parlayed her into sharing the stage with Kim Burrell, Beverly Crawford, Shirley Ceasar, The Mississippi Mass Choir, Kurt Karr, Byron Cage, Rizen and other artists.

CoCo's extraordinary melodious voice and stage presence captured the attention of Dr. Bobby Jones at the International Gospel Retreat in Las Vegas, NV and Miami, FL. So impressed by her performances, Dr. Jones invited her to appear on the Bobby Jones Gospel Show (BET) and the Worldwide Network Retreat. In November 2006 Coco shared her talent on BET & TV-One Network with the late Gerald Levert.

CoCo has shared her gift of songs on Spiritual Awakening (WRAL), FOX 50 TV and the Hilarious Comedy Tour. She is now featured on the Praise Collection DVD with various artists including Mary Mary, Fred Hammond and others.

Continuing with her myriad of guest performances, CoCo was a guest artist on the Women Who Jam tour sponsored by NABFEME during the summer of 2006. In December 2006, as a featured guest once again, she shared her ministry in songs at the Legacy of Champion Gala (for Attorney Willie Gary). CoCo also performed as a guest artist on 103.9 FM One Lamplighter’s Award ceremony that same evening. In January 2007, she was the opening artist for the Jeff Majors Homeless Drive at Wal-Mart in Raleigh, NC. In keeping up with this momentum of public appearances, CoCo was featured as a guest artist for the 103.9 FM Gospel Cruise (March 3-8, 2007) and also featured as a guest soloist in the play “Backstabbers”, Director by Allison Williams.

With such a busy schedule, CoCo still manages to keep her position with IBM as a Recruiter. CoCo is the first to admit that she has been truly blessed and would not have been able to accomplish her goals without trusting and depending on God. CoCo keeps her faith intact as a member of Mitchiner's Grove Baptist Church in Franklinton, NC where the Rev. Melvin Jackson is her pastor.

CoCo's debut single entitled "Stand With Me" was released week of GMWA, as CoCo performed her single at the NCGAG in Orlando, Fl. Her album entitled “I’ve Been Delivered” is scheduled to be released in the Spring of 2009.
