Biography of CNG JNE The Hyper Active hip hop artist CNG JNE (King Genie), also known as TONY TONE, is one of the most exciting and influential underground rappers coming out of the West Coast. His powerful and defining voice full of style and charisma has captivated thousands of people across the country and the world. With some of the hottest beats blended with intellectual lyrics and positive spiritual enlightenment he has made a name for himself as the model MC that wont stop until he reaches the top. Currently working on his third album Girl with Architect, who has produced hits for Coolio, Planet Asia, and Turben, CNG JNE is once again reinventing his style. His newest album HYPR AKTV has caught the audiences attention with the club banging hit Do The Donkey Kong and When They Say Wild off of his first album Problems Solved. He also has a new album for 2007 called " CALIWARNJA " and this is one of his best albums out. With the hits "BLOODY UP YOUR WHITE TEE " and " The GOD song " which are fantastic and excellently produced by DJ NUMBAWUN. His music career began at an early age with an attraction to the freedom of expression and speech that rap music provided. Inspired by everyone from Mozart, to Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis, and George Clinton, CNG JNE wrote his first rap song in 1991. In high school he became heavily involved in the band playing practically every brass instrument. As a grand superior Tuba player and an excellent Trumpet player his love and talent for music thrived and further developed his skill and passion to succeed in the hip hop industry. CNG JNE and hip hop MC LES ONE founded the underground hip-hop group Universal Alliance (UA) in 1999 in order to bring together a variety of hip hop elements consisting of deejaying, graffiti art, freestyling, break dancing, and most importantly positive hip hop music meant to inspire and change the rap mentality. UAs unique style can be attributed to the rich diversity of cultures and experiences found in the four group members. The main producer of the group, LES ONE, is originally from Peru, Novel was born in England, CNG JNE, aka HYPR*AKTV, was born in Las Vegas, and IYL, the freestyle champ, hails from Los Angeles where the group was formed and established. UA continues to produce conscious music and has two underground albums. On January 8, 1999 CNG JNE, formally known as KAMILION, opened for Cypress Hill and Psycho Realm in the San Fernando Valley at the Reseda Country Club for the show Club Game. CNG JNE has also performed all over the Hollywood club scene doing shows at many crowded venues such as,The Key Club Sunset,The Key Club Morongo,The House of Blues Sunset, The Zen bar, The Arena, Stevies, McReds, and The Pomona Fox Theatre. And most recently, working the college network at locations such as Cal Arts, CSUN, and Stanford, CNG JNE has put together shows which have included him, UA members, and many other underground artists. For CNG JNE the main objective in creating his hype stylish music is to reach out to the world and shed a positive light on the predominantly negative and violent public image of the rap industry. Always providing a positive role model and message for the youth of America and the world is crucial to CNG JNE who realizes that there is a huge need for spiritually uplifting music that encourages doing what is right.
