CLINIGOL is brought to you by two Welsh brothers, some synths, an ice cream van, a healthy dollop of neurosis, and a merry band of lovely guest singing ladies.
It kinda all started with the debut single EILIAD (A Second) in December 2006. It didn't quite make the Christmas No. 1, didn't top the Welsh Language Artists Chart either, but No. 9 ain't too bad. It's got Angie from Skins singing on it who, of course, is well fit.
Second single Y GWIR (The Truth) appeared in October 2007, was produced by legendary Welsh Dance duo Llwybr Llaethog and is one of our favourite songs. Buy! Ace third single HUFEN IA (Ice Cream), was released in January 2009 with Cyrion ond remix duties. Dare you not to like it!
All singles feature on the debut album MELYS, which means "sweet" and is sweet. 12 tracks of pop, dance, electro with some R&B and hip-pop touches. It's got some well-famous Welsh people on it like Siwan Morris, Heather Jones, Cofi Bach, Nia Medi and Wales' answer to Shirley Bassey, Margaret Williams. Hang on a minute, Shirley Bassey is Welsh. Aahh, you know what we mean. And if that wasn't enough, some testosterone is injected courtesy of a new hip-hop/electronia band called Bleed Electric, and the award winning DJ Jaffa. Go buy!
