Look out; here comes the next generation! Insanely creative brother-sister fiddle duo Tashina & Tristan Clarridge may be young, but the fact that they both started fiddling practically before they could speak makes them seasoned musical veterans, relatively speaking.

Tristan is a 4 time Grand National Fiddle Champion, successfully achieving that title for three years consecutively, skipping a year, then winning his 4th. Who won the off year? His sister, of course. As a cellist, he tours internationally with Crooked Still, Darol Anger's Republic of Strings, and New Old Stock, and has appeared with Cape Breton Fiddle phenomenon Natalie MacMaster.

Tashina, the 2005 Grand National Fiddle Champion, has performed at Carnegie Hall as part of Grammy winning bassist Edgar Meyer's Young Artists program, and tours with Mark O'Connor.

Their shared musical rapport is as natural as it is magical. Their performances are absolutely true musical conversation, discussion, argument, and celebration, and pure fascination.

Together, the home-schooled pair have taught perhaps thousands of lessons and workshops and

for the past seven years have instructed at Mark O'Connor's String Conference in San Diego.

They have worked together as members of their own groups, in Darol Anger’s Republic Of Strings, and in banjo master Bill Evans’ String Summit.
