GOLDY

Goldy was born on 03/05/1990 in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Her real name is Claire Naomi Howarth. She attended Roundhay High School and also there 6th form college. She now attends Leeds College Of Music furthering her knowledge of music studying Music Technology. This course also enables her to study acoustics, live sound, engineering in a studio and many different aspects of Music Technology. She also has 5 further Alevels in Economics, Graphics, Core Studies, Music Techonology and Sociology. She hopes to get a BA and an MA in Music Technology. Her musical talent began when she was as the tender age of 5 when she started singing, dancing, performing and playing piano. She has starred in such shows as Carnival Messiah, twice at the West Yorkshire Playhouse, once at Harewood House, and one at the Royal Albert Hall. She has also acted in Once Upon A Quarry Hill, Fairy Tales From The Streets and Roots In Boots also at the West Yorkshire Playhouse. She has won various talent contests in both singing and dancing. Now Goldy has stuck to making music as it is what she prefers to be behind the scenes, so she doesn't sing any more. She was inspired to produce by her brother and cousins who are also producers. Her auntie is in a sucessful band in New York signed by a Japanese label and is also the manager of the the dance/percussion group called STOMP. She has been producing music since the age of 16. She is now at the age of 19 and has been working with various artists acorss the UK and the USA. She uses Reason 4 to make her productions but also uses Logic Pro from time to time and rewires it with Reason. She also knows how to use Fruity Loops and Cubase and she uses ProTools to record. She is hoping to do some work with bigger artist within the next year or so. Goldy sells her music and is open to work with any artist.
