Kory Haines (Born August 25th 1986), better known by his stage name CKRISIS, is an American rapper/lyricist. He rose to local fame in his home city of Baltimore with the release of his second 4th Muscle up vol2 (2006-2007). The mix-tape moved over 7,000 units locally and through the outskirts of Baltimore .



Born in Maryland CKRISIS faced a hard life being raised in a home with on-going domestic violence between his parents. When he reached the age of 11 he began rapping with his birth father and other close relative , since then he has never turned back. To obtain success in the rap game he uses a very unique method of mind over mater to keep him making positive moves in a tough industry world. He is CEO of his own entertainment company (Bird city entertainment) which consists of various rappers with industry bound talent. He maintains a military mind to keep him marching toward his goals set. While being inspired by many artist before him CKRISIS is self-motivated with his art.



CKRISIS has done lots of positive thing for the Baltimore hip hop scene including but not limited to helping to be an anchor and setting the bar to making music to appeal to other cities besides Baltimore . He has also helped other artist to launch there local career While having the best year of his career in 2007 he release a whopping 8 solo mix-tapes which move thousands of units in the streets. Over 13 records have been recorded and released under his label Bird City Entertainment. CKRISIS is not only interested in doing hip hop music he also has goals of doing poetry, spoken, word book writing and screen writing. He has already written his biography titled (7 DAYS IN BIRD CYTY) which will go more in depth of not only the rapper CKRISIS but the person Kory Haines.
