Introduction: CJ Emulous of His Image Ministries is a leader, inspirational speaker, mentor, humble minister of music through gospel rap and a man on fire for Christ! Emulous, which comes from the word emulate- imitate with effort to equal or surpass, describes him best. Jesus told His disciples, in order to be the best, they had to make themselves least. Through his servitude and humility, he strives daily to be the best and grow more and more Christ like.
Goal and Vision: The goal of his ministry is simple: to bring all glory to God through obedience to His Word, edify the body and reconcile the lost. By doing this CJ allows God to use him to lead souls out of darkness and into a dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ. The vision of his ministry is to use his music and life as a bait to draw people in to get them hooked by the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. God clearly has His hand on this young man and this is only the beginning! This ministry of edification and reconciliation will expand across the U.S. and will reach and save souls internationally.
Testimony: CJ Solomon was raised in the church, but strayed because he didn’t understand the significance of a relationship with Jesus Christ. He went full on for the enemy and was involved in everything Satan stands for. While 20 years old, he was incarcerated for shipping drugs to Hawaii. He was guilty of possession of drugs and a firearm. CJ was looking at a 10-12 year sentence with a low of 5 years, which meant he had to do at least 5 years to get out! While In federal prison, he began to study the bible and came to understand that the wages of his sins was death. CJ did not want to live the life he was living any longer and told the Lord if he had to do 10-12 years, he deserved it. He also told Him that he wanted to be a changed man when he was released, whenever that might be. The Lord is truly faithful and He honored CJ’s heart change. Less than a year later, he walked directly out of the court room on his sentencing day. Even though the "law" said he had to do at least 5 years, even though he pleaded guilty to his charges, CJ’s true Judge, God, poured out His mercy and said otherwise. He poured out His grace upon this young mans life, for His purpose and glory. Now CJ Emulous is vowed to display the love and passion of God, the same loves that carried CJ out of his wicked lifestyle. So many were led astray by the man he used to be, but God has given him a fire to impact them with his testimony and his anointed ministry of reconciliation.
History: Year-to-date, he has ministered at over 200 different venues (Churches, Party’s, High Schools, Colleges , Talent shows, Block Parties, Malls, Conferences, Theatres and Award shows) and on many occasions he has returned to minister multiple times. He is currently a youth minister at Liberty Christian Center where he preaches and teaches, and ministers weekly at Vanden High School. Though great accomplishments, CJ’s focus remains the same, “Glorify Edify And Reconcile!”
**The truth is that God is real and He desires to have a personal relationship with you! It is so easy to get caught up in the cares of this temporal life and forget the hard facts, that one day we all will die and have to give an account of our life to God!
God created us to worship Him, be in fellowship with Him and basically to be His friends. Mankind rebelled against Gods perfect standard and sinned. God hates sin with a passion, so much that He continuously pours out His wrath on those who live in sin and so much that He created a place for sin and people who are in submission to it. This place is called HELL and it is a very real place of eternal suffering for those who refuse to serve God! Since all of mankind sin, all would go to hell and suffer for eternity! But, God didn’t want this and out of His love sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die in our place. 2000 years ago Jesus, being God in the flesh, came and lived the perfect life we were suppose to live and took our sin on the cross and died in our place satisfying the wrath of God for those who believe! God then made it as easy as us confessing with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, and believing in our heart that God raised Him from the dead and we will be saved. You won’t be saved simply because you confessed this but because if you truly believe this you would understand that without Jesus YOU are destined to perish eternally in HELL because your sins wont be forgiven!
I am no different than anyone…I was the greatest amongst sinners, until God revealed this message to me. I repented (Confessed my sins to God and asked for forgiveness) and He began the process of changing me from the inside out! If you haven’t already accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior and you feel that God is speaking to you through this letter, PLEASE, PLEASE stop what you are doing right now and confess your sins to God and ask Him for forgiveness And turn from all evil ways which are displeasing to God!
