Chris Love

Ok… So I was going to do one of those typical "Chris Love is an extremely talented artist, blah blah blah…" But I decided not to. I want to give you the "real me." I want everyone to know, that I'm grinding just like they are. No matter what I do, I never want to get bigger than the people who made me who I am.
With that being said… I can tell you a little about me. I'm a singer/songwriter/producer born in Indianapolis, Indiana but raised in the south suburbs of Illinois. I've been into music my entire life. I was inspired by my father, who was and still is an amazing singer. I was and also continue to be inspired by my Uncle Tyng Prince. Who never ceases to amaze me with his creativity and dedication to the craft. I started out singing and rapping, so at that point I was looking for people to write my lyrics. Nobody would do it, so I started doing it myself. Then I needed music, again, no one would make me anything.well at least not for free. I was terrible at first, but I kept at it. My turning point was when someone asked me how much do I charge for tracks. I thought, "People want to pay me for music I make??" After that I was on a mission… still on that mission as we speak.
My genre is a new blend of Pop, R&B and Rock; I categorize it as Urban Pop. I'm striving to do something different. I want my lyrics to reach a part in everyone where they can relate to it. Anyway, I think I've rambled enough. But to sum everything up, I want this journey I'm on to be shared with you from day one. Through YouTube videos, Facebook updates and twitter updates.
