City of Verses is a hip hop promotions label in Adelaide. Established in September 2006 by Eldy, the idea was to help up and coming hip hop talent get gigs as well as bring more established artists both locally and interstate out to a stage. All of this was in the hope of boosting the local live scene and getting more people involved. Since the first show COV has put 60+ acts on a stage in Adelaide ranging from first timers to repsected acts from interstate and overseas such as Mortar, Hyjak n Torcha, Hopsice Crew, Def Wish Cast, Delta, After Hours, The Optimen plus more.
