Cisko mixes up tracks from Gansta Rap to R&B type tracks. Originally Innocente of P.B.C.// Proud By Choice releasing the album "Central Valley Livin" (2000), which was a succesful hit in Central California, earned him a name in the independant rap game. With that of course comes the haters who speak on things they don't know simply because they envy those who have what they don't.
Other albums were released over the years but were self promoted through word of mouth and never really put together with intentions of blowing up. However, that has changed and now an album is in the works showing true potential to expand into the mainstream. Though the album will contain underground sounds, as well, it is versatility that will seperate it from other artists.
It is the willingness to work with others, rather than compete, that seperates Cisko from the competition. The wake up call was the feedback received from songs such as "PROMISE ME" (Cisko & Jessica "The Other Side of Me") that have made the difference and given motivation to advance. "When I first started rapping I was simply trying to put together songs that the homies could bump in the hood. Now I'm trying to touch a larger market. My music ranges from feel good music to that shit that makes you wanna get yo' ride on. I've accepted that I can't please everyone and with every dollar made another hater comes along".
Truly being able to adapt in the the studio makes Cisko an artist to look out for. "I do my music for the listeners so be sure to hit me up with any questions or ideas that you may wanna hear on songs". The next release is titled "FROM THE STREETS 2 THE SHEETS". Rather than release two seperate albums of different genre's, this album combines the best of both sides.
