Cindy Wonderful

Cindy Wonderful is a modern phenomena with roots deep in the D.I.Y. underground and influences ranging from the most decadent of mainstream culture. Stealing the glitter and glamour and dropping the tired old rules and standards, her shows inspire, beats soothe, and lyrics seduce. Her positive, sexy, and dance inducing tracks invite teeny boppers, angry anarcho feminists, hipsters, homos, sorority chicks, bros, and 'hos together to the same party.



Currently her projects beyond solo work include being 50% of the electropoppunk sensation SCREAM CLUB as well as being 1/3 organizer for Berlin's hosttest dance party SOAP plus solo DJ gigs across Europe, and playing drums for the trashblues punk band Lorena and the Bobbits.



Her glam electropunk pop thumbprints have been all over the place from producing tracks for Nicky Click and Lesbians on Ecstasy to being a founder of both CRUNKS NOT DEAD Records and Wonderground the TV i!!!!



She has collaborated and performed with numerous artists including Peaches, Beth Ditto, Busdriver, Yuksek, the Shapeshifters, Sue Denim, Michelle Tea, and many more. An OG of the radical feminist/queer music scene she played with her former band Rainbow Sugar at the first Ladyfest and solo at the first Homoagogo festivals in Olympia Washington.



She is now focusing on finsihing the 4th Scream Club collaboration cd with ELECTROSEXUAL due out in 2010 called SCREAMING and CRYING. Tracks coming soon.
