Ciera Lamborn was most recently seen as Frasquita in Opera Santa Barbara's spring production of Carmen. Last fall she sang Pamina for Opera Santa Barbara's family production of Magic Flute. As a member of the Opera Santa Barbara Young Artist Program during which she covered Nedda in Pagliacci. At UCLA Ms. Lamborn performed Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Virginella in La Perichole, Ciesca in Gianni Schicchi, and News Woman, in Les Mammelles de Tiresias. Other roles include Armelinde in Cendrillon with Lyric Opera of Los Angeles, and covering a page in Los Angeles Opera's production of Lohengrin. Ciera has also been in many Los Angeles Opera productions as a preference member of the opera chorus. Most recently in the American premiere of The Fly, directed by David Cronenberg.

You might recognize Ms. Lamborn from her solo singing appearance on the smash hit Desperate Housewives, singing “Ave Maria” at a funeral. She was also seen as a Lady in Waiting on the Emmy nominated opera episode of Malcolm in the Middle

As a concert soloist she has sung for the Angeles Chorale in Mozart’s Requiem, UCLA chorale’s Bach Magnificat and William’s Serenade to Music all under the direction of Donald Nuen. She has received scholarship support from the Gluck Foundation, the Leni Fé Bland Foundation, and the Performing Arts Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara. She was also a finalist in the Palms Springs Opera Guild Competition.

Ms. Lamborn received her Bachelor of Music from UC Santa Barbara, her Masters of Music and Doctorate of Musical Arts from UC Los Angeles.
