Strange Rivals came together in the fall of 2009 to make what a Russo-Anglo acquaintance has called "zee beautiful noise." Inspired by 1960's girl groups, trans-cultural field spirituals, and cockroach meetings in basements accompanied by sonatas played on sticks and leaves, Jozeph Herceg (Bass/Vox), Jeffrey Klonoski (Vox/Guitars), and Kevin Lynch (Drums) will play anywhere, anytime, and however they damn well please. They are a Brooklyn-based band dedicated to spreading the love, one broken eardrum at a time.
