Chuck was born and raised in Chester Pennsylvania, a small town south of Philadelphia. He moved to New York City in 1977. Immediately landing his first pro gig performing with an artist by the name of Edwin Birdsong. Edwin led him to record in some of the top studios in N.Y.C, like Hit Factory, Sigma Sound Studio, Electric Ladyland studios.



Roy Ayers hired him as a session guitarist in 1978, recording on 70% percent of Roys recordings, "Running Away", "Love Will Brings Us Back Together", "Dont Stop The Feeling", are just a few of the mega hits for Roy. Toured with Roy from 1979 till 1985, during this time he recorded and performed with Fela Anikulapo Kuti 1980. After six inspiring years of learning the ropes with Ubiquity, he decided to pursue a larger R&B audience. Touring with some 80s groups such as, Colonel Abrams, Gwen Guthrie, & was the Musical Director for Evelyn Champagne King band during her big hit "Love Come Down".
In the summer of 1988 he arrived in Stockholm Sweden. During his stay in Stockholm he started working for all sorts of musical endeavors including a long & worthwhile stay with Producer Dennis PoP. Writing, recording & touring for many hits that came out of Sweden at that time. Dr. Alban, Ace of Base, Leila K, Herbie Crichlow, Three T's, Lutricia McNeal, E-Type, Five, Backstreet Boys "Quit Playing Games With My Heart", "As long As You Love Me".
2004 co-wrote & produced songs for Malin Westling's album entitled "MALIN"
2004 co-wrote songs "Got To Do Better", "The Way You Are", "That's What I Do" with blues artist Eric Bibb
2005 co-production on the Anouschka album "My Kind Of Heartbreak"
2006 co-writer on Annabel Faye Album
2007 member of the famous Swedish group BLACKNUSS.
2008 singing all vocals on the 3 cell phone commercial "Give me just a little more time"
