Christian Nativo is a freelance drummer and educator based in Melbourne, Australia. He has built a modest musical career over a number of years incorporating Rock and Jazz/Fusion influences. Christian s signature sound is a result of his musical sensibility and broad range of musical tastes.



During his studies at The Victorian College of the Arts (Improvisation course) in 2006, Christian regularly performed in Jazz quartets and swinging big bands gaining a respectable reputation from his peers and teachers. Christian s passion and appreciation extends to Funk, Blues, Country and Latin music right through to Alternative Rock and Heavy Metal.



Christian has toured Australia, New Zealand and Europe with the Australian band VANISHING POINT supporting international bands - IRON MAIDEN, DRAGONFORCE, JOE SATRIANI, HELLOWEEN and SONATA ARCTICA.



Christian freelances to a number of covers/corporate bands as well as touring and recording artists around Australia. His teaching appointments at Allans/Billy Hyde Music, Wendy's Music and various Primary Schools/Secondary Schools around Melbourne, keep him connected to the grass roots of music education.



Through his home studio, Christian also offers artists both nationally and internationally an affordable option for recording drum tracks using Pro Tools.



Christian is an endorsee of VIC FIRTH drumsticks, REMO Drum skins and AXIS Drum Pedals. Christian exclusively uses and recommends Ear Monitors Australia and Mono cases.
