CHRIS LIZZI ARTIST BIO
Pop Rock artist Chris Lizzi, born in Central New York, is a singer songwriter who knows how to present an original artistic vision in a way that appeals to all listeners of all ages across the social spectrum. Growing up in a musical family, with a vocalist Mother and a Father who played drums for a local cover band, the sounds of the Beatles, Johnny Cash, Neil Young, Ray Charles and Bruce Springsteen where always playing somewhere in his home. Later on, Chris would draw his inspiration from a wide range of genres like country music, pop, rock, jazz, metal, etc…. and combined those styles into his music.

Chris hit the road to share his music with the world making stops in various cities in Boston, Upstate CNY, NYC and Virginia. After returning home, Chris began to put the finishing touches on his first full length Album entitled "Step Right In Fall Right Out". Chris went on to selling 800 Hard copies in 5 months while teaming up with local companies to help spread his music. Even businesses such as Wegmans Food Markets teamed up with Chris to sell his CD.
Chris also had a portion of his CD sales donated to a local charity called Hillside Work Scholarship Connection. It is a charity that aims to help kid's graduate high school. The local Syracuse Post-Standard newspaper also took an interest in Chris's music. They followed him for 6 months and wrote a weekly series describing his struggles being one of the only original artist's performing 3 nights a week in Syracuse, NY in a very heavily based cover band city.

Years later, Chris was also honored to learn that his high school was teaching an economic course about his music talking about the difference between an artist on a record label and an artist like Chris who is doing everything on his own.
