Chris Koza on the influence of Minneapolis - Video
PUBLISHED:  Feb 16, 2009
DESCRIPTION:
Minneapolis-based songwriter Chris Koza has released three proper albums and an EP. The first album, 'Exit Pesce,' came trickling out of a basement apartment in late autumn of 2004. 'Patterns,' his 2006 full-length sophomore effort, received more local acclaim. With the release of EP 'A Friend of a Friend' that same fall, Koza cemented himself as a prolific artist devoted to the craft of songwriting, and eager to expand.

Since spring 2007, Koza has toured extensively as a 4 or 5 piece band with a compelling live show that has introduced people coast-to-midwest-to-coast to this promising young artist. The latest album, 'The Dark, Delirious Morning,' was released on June 7th, 2008 and has received very positive reviews and radio play.

Chris joined us in the Whole Music Club on November 20th, 2008 to talk to us about about his history, songwriting process, and what it's like to be Chris Koza.
