Chris Declercq, Lead/Rhythm guitarist and songwriter was born in Switzerland on August 28, 1986. Chris is endorsed
by VIGIER guitars. He first started by playing drums before he picked up the guitar at age sixteen. Chris studied music for a while
at the ETM music school in Geneva, Switzerland. Chris also went to Houston, Texas where he took several hours of lessons from
guitarist Rusty Cooley. He played with many bands in Switzerland and toured parts of Europe. Since there were not many opportunities
in Switzerland, he moved at age 18 to Hollywood, CA and studied at the Musicians' Institute where he got lessons from teachers such as
Steve Hunter (ex-Alice Cooper, Tracy Chapman, etc.), Carl Verheyen (Supertramp, Bee Gees, etc.), etc, and even Paul Gilbert.
Chris performed in some of California's finest venues from the Whiskey A Go-Go to the House Of Blues, festivals as well as touring and
being a session musician. Chris also played with a host of world-class musicians such as Dizzy Reed of Guns 'N Roses,
Michael Kenney (Iron Maiden live keyboardist), Billy Sheehan (Steve Vai, Mr. Big, etc.), Lemmy Kilmister (Motörhead),
Phil Campbell (Motörhead), Simon Wright (AC/DC, Dio, UFO), Alan Krigger (Ike & Tina Turner),
Teddy Zig Zag Andreadis (Alice Cooper, Guns 'N Roses, etc.), etc, etc. Chris is now playing for the band Sextus, with Eric Dover (Alice Cooper, Slash' Snakepit) and the Michael Jackson tribute band "Moonwalker". Chris is also playing with many more musicians and is available for hire.
