Choppz has captured the ear of Cincinnati with his charm, his flow and

his ability to attract fans of all ages, but his first ryhmes had a

much smaller audience. Choppz started rapping at the tender age of six

years old. The eighteen year old sensation has come a long way; Choppz

is now tackling everything from partying, to love, to the future with

his ability to instantly grab an audience with his fresh style and raw

talent.



A lifelong resident of Cincinnati, Ohio, Choppz was born Dysaijah

Crenshaw. He's always had a passion for music and was first drawn to

hip-hop by his biggest inspiration, his father, who used to rhyme

locally. As he grew up, Choppz continued to love hip hop and began

building a career based on pure talent and a love of hip hop and his

hometown Cincinnati.



Choppz has always had the heart of an entertainer and took every

opportunity he could to perform and perfect his craft. At the age of

twelve he began writing everyday and when he finally got into the

studio at the age of 15, he laid down his first track and got it done,

in the first take. Once his music began getting out to the people,

his fan base grew quickly and Choppz began performing

throughout Cincinnati branching to Atlanta, California, and other states.



Choppz's influences are just diverse as his music. A fan of all

genres, he's into everything from classic hip hop to alternative metal

bands like Three Days Grace and Linkin Park. He even listens to

country. For Choppz, good music is good music. Choppz is most inspired

by Jay-Z. Kanye West, 50 Cent, L. L Cool J and the list goes on.

His musical versatility has earned him comparisons to a young L. L. Cool J

because he can seamlessly go from rhyming about romance and love

to talking about grittier subjects. Others have likened Choppz to Will Smith

because he can make hit songs without using profanity.



But once he steps out on stage its clear Choppz has a style all his

own. Choppz has the rare ability to immediately grab the attention of

an audience. Choppz feeds off the energy he gets from the crowd and

they go wild when they hear his voice. He got the name Choppz for his

mouth and the name fits, he is quickly becoming the voice of his

generation.



On top of his growing career and busy performing schedule, Choppz

maintains a high grade point average and excels in school. He said "I

want to make it to where it's cool to get good grades, stay in school

and have your fun at the same time."



Choppz's career continues to soar as his music begins to reach outside

the Midwest. He said"What separates me from everybody else is that no

teen rapper is doing it like me." With fans from the ages of 4 to 40 –

Choppz is right, nobody else is doing it quite like him.
