Discovered by 'The King of R&B' R.Kelly, Chef Tone has been deemed the next 'Big Hand'. After being discovered by R.Kelly in December 2006, The Chef quickly earned his way. "Coming in to work with a genius like Rob was a great experience for me,"says Chef. Quickly adapting to the heavy work schedule given to him by 'The R.', Chef continued to amaze music giants. The first project Chef Tone was involved with musically was R.Kelly's latest release Double Up. Double Up quickly blazed up the Billboard Charts to Number 1, and within weeks acheived PLATINUM STATUS. Kelz saw something in the young writer that reminded him of himself when he was younger, he then took Chef under his wings and helped him develop his talents. Chef has written numerous smashes and continues to grow as a writer. "Rob pushes, he doesn't allow for mediocracy, he made me the beast I am. Imagine having R.Kelly as your mentor, and you're a writer. It's like having Michael Jordan train you in Basketball, or Denzel teaching you how to act."
