Chayah

Christian recording artist, singer and songwriter, Chayah (kai-yah) Miranda is known for her sweet yet powerful voice. She has performed all over the United States and throughout the Bay Area and has won numerous awards for her singing and songwriting. Chayah has opened for artists such as Jesse McCartney and has performed the National Anthem for the NBA Golden State Warrior's opening games and for the San Francisco Giants baseball games.
Before becoming a Christian Gospel artist, Chayah performed for several Radio Disney events such as their annual event, "Boo at the Zoo." In 2005, Chayah was the featured artist at the New York International Film and Music Festival which was held in Las Vegas, Nevada. She has also won several talent competitions such as the College of San Mateo American Idol Singing Competition and the Hip-Hop Talent Show which she won 1st Place for Most Outstanding Artist.
She has also won several awards for her songwriting. "LOVE YOU BOY", a Pop R&B song which Chayah wrote in 2004. "Love You Boy" went on to win the Pop song competition and was named "Best Commercial Song of 2006 and Most Likely to Succeed." Chayah also won two Muse's Muse Awards for "Love You Boy" which won BEST POP SONG of 2006 and BEST POP PERFORMANCE in a POP SONG of 2006. "LOVE YOU BOY" also garnered another win at the Face the Music Songwriting Competition in which songs were submitted for review by musicians, producers, and songwriters.
Chayah is known for her soothing and powerful voice. Her voice has captured the hearts of people who have heard her sing and perform. In 2010, Chayah graduated from Berklee College of Music. While attending college, Chayah faced many obstacles and trials which brought her to think about what really mattered to her the most. It was in early 2009 when she had to fight for her life and found herself praying to God for healing. Faithfully as God would have it, Chayah saw and felt God's love and healing power, and it was in that moment when she surrendered her life to Christ and made the decision to follow Jesus. Chayah has continued to follow Jesus and has found her true calling.to serve God through her music. It is her passion and goal to spread His Gospel of good news to all who don't know Christ through her music. Now Chayah is constantly singing all over the United States and is currently working on her first EP.
