TASHA of Vybz Evolution Band

Born November 15th in south Trinidad, Tasha began singing in church at the tender age of 4. Singing was always a priority growing up with a father who was and still is a calypsonian. She start singing calypso in school and around south Trinidad, soon after developing her love for the soca art form. In 2006, Tasha found another talent; writing. She began writing and arranging her own songs. She then went on to form the Vybz Evolution Band, which he been gracing stages in New York,Philadelphia,Miami,Detroit, Virginia and most recently she appeared along side The Royalty Band in Dominica for Carnival 2011. With a voice that's sultry and powerful, Tasha hopes to one day take soca music to another level. Now following in her father's foot steps and living her dreams Tasha is now on a path to keep her genre of music alive. She has done background vocals for artist such as Dainjamental,General Grant,Lyrikal,Khari Kill,Levi Myaz,Mr.King, Pilot,Nature B, Pelf, and Tallpree. This singer/songwriter is finally doing what she loves.
