Cerose was born in London-England and raised on the streets of Brixton sw9. A product of the wind rush era from Jamaican heritage. Cerose music career started in 1995 in the reggae dancehall scene, at that time he was known by the name of Black rhino and was doing dubplates for various sound systems like-Exodus 4x4 and metro media (Jamaica),Lp international (new york) Black hawk (uk) and Qualitex studio to name a few. At that time Cerose did a lot of stage shows and live pa's. In early 1996 cerose had his first national 45 inch release called youthman have control, followed by Hot girls, both tracks were produced and put out by Daddy noddy under yush record label. In 1998 cerose went to Jamaica for 3 months and recorded tracks at well known studios- Arrows and king jammys studio while there he did a lot of work with internationally known producer Mikey Spence. Unencouraged by the music industry and distracted by the world Cerose neglected his music for the street, with only spending little time in the studio Cerose started to develop his own unique style of lyrical dee jaying in an English accent (instead of a Jamaican one) this came heavily influenced by hip hop instrumentals. July 2003 Cerose is released from wormwood scrubs prison on bail, 99% sure he is going back to prison Cerose looks and knows music is his only real ticket out of street, frustrated that the industry shows no love to real people making real music, frustrated because he knows hes better than a lot of mcs in the lime light he still had to depend on his hussle to survive. Cerose attacks the industry as a whole and named various names in his first rap mix cd called; No contender, at that time Cerose was on a 7am-7pm curfue but broke this to do open mic sessions, the jump off and anywhere he could go to be heard and give out cds. No contender cd was followed by the ;round here cd/dvd the first of its kind on the streets of the uk. this was produced and filmed by mykal million ,r.o.b.e tv and p.e entertainment .Cerose said everything he felt about the industry and shared some of his political views on that cd plus the dvd shows exclusive footage of pa's etc. September 2004 Cerose was sentenced to 3 years in prison for drug supplying. December 2005 Cerose is released from prison back to firmly stamp his name on the rap game by any means necessary. January 06 Cerose released; return of the jedi, his first mixtape since coming out of prison and this has been called a classic on the streets, he has also released:By any means nessesary, How to Sample, Murder blues pt1-2, V for vendetta and Cerose-London Ent-Dj Diggz, in the us

Since the end of 2007 into 2008, Cerose has been working between London and the US on upcoming projects
