Celia Evans, a Chicago native and recent transplant to LA, is the total package – the triple threat. A multi-talented performer with no limits on the range of her abilities, this rising star has built an impressive career for herself in music, modeling and acting. Her beautiful, smooth and sultry voice and positive lyrics are a fresh sound and shining light in today’s musical landscape. Her performance is original and always entertaining, including a DJ, break-dancers and background singers. Celia has brought her fun and energetic live show to colleges and schools across the country and has already built a large and loyal fanbase, proving that she is right on the pulse of America’s youth.



Celia, who began singing in choirs as a child, got her start in the music business by capitalizing on her versatility and singing throughout Europe with prominent House DJs. After returning to the States, Celia was a featured vocalist in a jazz trio and performed regularly at New York City’s Cafe Wha?, the legendary birthplace of many music careers, including those of Bob Dylan and Kool and the Gang, among others. Since then, Celia has been a respected session artist in the U.S. and Europe, working with reggae artist Johnny Dread, producers Cool and Dre, and many artists in the growing Miami hip-hop scene. Celia has built a particularly strong southeast following and performed at the world-renowned Winter Music Conference in Miami in 2005.



In her acting endeavors, Celia has also been gaining increasing exposure, with acting roles in the television shows General Hospital and Girlfriends and appearances in local and national television commercials for such major companies as Southwest Airlines, Kia and BMW. Her modeling jobs have included several fitness videos and swimwear calendars. Celia’s naturally open and friendly personality has also become a valuable asset, as she has been chosen to host lifestyle segments for the Plum Network and the widely popular Current TV, the online television network founded by Al Gore.
