Out of Memphis, TN has come an imaginative new group that has begun to make its mark on the music world. Instead of the staple two turntables and a microphone, Cayerio (pronounced kay-rio) has blended elements of pop, hip-hop, and rock into one cohesive and melodic sound as a five-piece band. Often touring with indie rock and pop-punk bands, this indie hip-hop band doesn't fit comfortably into any one genre; their music is rooted in the traditions of hip-hop, but feature live instruments and musicians instead of tracks and basic drum beats. Cayerio is more than a sound. They are a movement.
