CAVALAR

Cavalar is a four-piece heavy rock band based in London. The drummer ARN the singer TWITCH formed the band in London at the end of 2004. The line up of Cavalar is
complete with DAN on guitar and DAVE RIMMER on bass. The name Cavalar is an expression from the Portuguese language that means, "Super charged".
Cavalar are heavy metal in its purest form, completely void of any trends or urban 'core stances that bog down the current metal crop and drain the scene of any originality or charisma. A band like Cavalar makes a statement with their blue-collar, working man metal roots. "Recoil" is exactly that, a factual, loud testimonial of heavy metal true and true.

The debut album entitled "As a metal of fact" 2008 has been released in UK in 2008 by Dead Famous Records and distributed by Genepool. The album is on sale at all good online Retailers and major High Street Music stores.
Recently finishing the recording of "Recoil" the album is available online worldwide and physically in South America through Voice Music.
The new album "Recoil" exemplifies exactly the type of metal we need more of in these times of the likes of Trivium and the whole metalcore pack. This is an extremely solid release and is worth finding, even if it takes some time, because this is an incredibly rewarding listen. Still, make no mistake about it: Cavalar is a heavy band. Every song on Recoil has a really strong, catchy riff and a heavy groove.
