Cate Sparks' music can best be described as Alternative Pop Rock. Born and raised in Minnesota, she has been singing professionally since she was seven years old. Now at the age of 18, she has musical experience well beyond her years. Cate started her musical career as a member of the pop vocal group Atomic Kids. As "the official" Radio Disney group of Minnesota, they performed throughout the Midwest. It was quickly identified that Cate's Rich, warm, yet powerful voice was extraordinarily destined for greater things. Cate's solo debut EP "Coming of Age" was just the beginning of her very promising musical career. Becoming a teenager, she wanted to sing music reflective of what she listened to. Transitioning into guitar and vocal driven pop rock came naturally to her. With the support of industry professionals, reknown producer Karl Demer (Sounds of Blackness, Skywynd), award winning songwriter Trevor Vaughan Williams Lukanen (Q Public et al), and musicians such as Michael Bland (Prince & the New Power Generation). The result became vocally driven, high energy music with contagious melodies.
