Catartica started out in 2001, the members of the band, who came from different musical backgrounds melted together these differences creating their own rock sound. They participated the selections of the Arezzo Wave regional finals, and other provincial rock festivals, one of which was San Marco’s Festival where they won and subsequently, in 2004,were able to make their first demo.

In 2005 they take part in the Altomonte Rock Festival and they win it, that gave them the possibility of recording an Ep . . Le(a)d is over me. .

I Catartica nascono nel 2001 . Provenienti da ambienti musicali diversi fondono le loro attitudini musicali nel rock. Partecipano alle selezioni di Arezzo wave(finale regionale), ed altri festival provinciali tra cui S.M.Rock, grazie al quale nel 2004 riescono a registrare il loro primo demo omonimo. Nel 2005 partecipano all'Altomonte Rock festival vincendolo, avendo cosi la possibilità di registrare un nuovo EP LE(A)D IS OVER ME!!!
