Carrie Preston

Carrie has always been involved in music. She gave her first public vocal performance at the age of two, and started playing the piano at the age of 4. She has been professionally trained in voice and piano, but her influences go far beyond the academic setting.



Growing up, she was influenced by many types of music. in her younger years, it was Bob James, Starland Vocal Band and The Carpenters. In her teens it was Celine Dion, First Call and Bonnie Raitt. In her adult years she migrated more towards pop and R&B artists like Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera and Destiny's Child. but she never forgot her earlier influences. She has taken many styles and sounds and, along with her own heart and life's experiences, rolled them into what she calls her own.



Carrie's love for music has thrust her into all aspect of the creative process. songwriter, vocalist, instrumentalist, engineer and producer. She is constantly evolving her sound, style and message. Every day brings something new. it's a never-ending process.



In Carrie's free time, other than music, she enjoys going to the beach, painting, spending time with her friends and family.
