Finding a young talented female MC can be very hard to come across. Finding one that combines the lyrics, flow, delivery and presence that no other female rapper has ever possessed was thought to be next to impossible…until 'Carmen.' This lyrical genius is poised to be the largest female rap artist of the 21st century.
Born June 28, 1987; known as 'Carmen,' is truly becoming a force to be reckoned with. At 23 years of age, she can effortlessly rap circles around male and female competitors. There is no comparison for her. But for the purposes of this bio, Carmen's writing and lyrical style can be compared to a Fabolous or Cassidy; however, her delivery style and persona is unique all unto herself. With a depleted female rap field, time has long been overdue for a new female rapper to claim her spot at the top. After hearing only a verse from Carmen, it is easy to see that she will claim her spot and will stay on top for a long time to come.
Carmen describes her lyrics as street poetry signifying deep meaning. Rapping from the age of 16, Carmen has made great improvements and continues to work on perfecting her craft. Establishing herself on the rap battle scene, Carmen has taken on all challengers and has left them feeling embarrassed and selfless. With lines such as 'you can catch me cocky with a heater/and you don't see pussy, that's why you beat your meat like Rocky in the freezer,' combined with a powerful presence and delivery, has lead her to be well recognized and not someone people look to challenge.
Consisting of real raps and punch lines that will make you press rewind, Carmen is years ahead of the competition and will only continue to distance herself from other rappers. Female rappers are often not taken seriously and are not looked at as being artists who can have long lasting and strong careers; with Carmen that is certainly not the case. Carmen is a very intelligent, soft spoken, knowledgeable young woman when it comes to the business side of things and is marketable to all audiences.

Already carrying a large buzz through the mix tape circuit, collaborating on beats with Boston's popular rap group the "Hitmakerz," Carmen appeals to female and male fans of rap with a large following that will only continue to grow. A very beautiful young woman with a charismatic smile, the likes of a female rapper being this prepared for the limelight has never been seen.
The time has come for someone to put the city of Boston on the map for mainstream rap audiences and for the new first lady of rap to arrive. That time has come in the form of a 23 year old female MC with the look, personality, work ethic, knowledge, talent and skills to stamp her name in capital letters over the rap industry.
