Careworn

Careworn combines melodic female vocals with intricate and fervent guitars-mixing musical smarts and indie diversity with punk rock energy.



Careworn formed out of the ashes of Nothing At All in 2004 and quickly recorded their hooky first album How Cunning These Blue Skies at Sundae Sound in Calgary, Alberta. They have shared the stage with bands such as Death From Above 1979, Hot Water Music, Flashlight Brown, Ten Second Epic, Daggermouth, Social Code, performed at Warped tour 2005, and have toured Canada numerous times.



Careworn consisted of Monique Hoople on Vocals, Pat Sharman and Joe Sawan on guitars, Matt Morin, Sebfromtim, Rory Dolinsky, and Graham Churchill on Drums, Rob Churchill, Vance Gore, Mike Stupid and Kyle Richardson on Bass. The band was plagued with numerious line up changes, creative differences, and eventually went on a two year hiatus.



Pat Sharman was recently playing in Floodlight and works at L&M. Joe is Guitar teching for Gob and played briefly in Ready.Set.Die and Jakartah. Kyle is playing bass and singing in the Transition. Rory is somewhere on a walk about playing Tabla and drumming for The Transition w/ Joe sometimes filling in as touring guitarist . Rob Churchill is playing with Sink This City. Seb got married to Sunny. Vance moved to Minneapolis w/ Melody. Matt has moved from Tofino back to Edmonton and is selling drums at Axe Music.
