This is the Captive Audio MySpace page - run by the band for our friends and fans.

Unfortunately, access to our previous Captive Audio site has been removed and is no longer run by the band, and so our hard work in building over 13,000 friends and fans has been undone and so we need YOUR help - we need you to let as many people as possible know about us and this new page so we can regain the community that we worked so hard to achieve!

Regards,

Paul, Ant & Sharron

".there is nothing basic about either the musicianship, the writing or the vocals. This band has a sophistication that most bands of any size will struggle to achieve." - Slaphead, www.headbang.co.uk

"It is a truly great thing when a band actually creates a unique sound and this band have done exactly that" - Slaphead, www.headbang.co.uk

".was a classy performance by a classy band that should, if there was any justice in this land, be massive." - Pete Worral, www.roomthirteen.com

"If Skunk Anansie is the rock and Tool is the hard place, then Captive Audio are the mystery inbetween. Heavy, loud and thunderously good." - Ladyfest, 2006

This hard working three piece kicked off with their first gig in March 2005 soon after and they were quick to build momentum hitting venues across the UK including, Carling Academy in Newcastle, Fibbers Barfly in York and the Garage in London, Bloodstock Festival 2006 and many more!

They have built a loyal fan base and recruited street team members throughout the UK.

Whilst targeting the physical side of the industry with CD and merchandise sales, Captive Audio have their own site at www.captiveaudio.co.uk featuring release previews, artwork, gig listings and photo galleries.

The band are currently working on their first full length studio album.

This 60 second promo video is a combination of live footage from three different gigs. Many thanks to Malcolm from the Snooty Fox in Wakefield, Emma Mackley and Dave Hutchinson for the footage and especially Dave for taking the time to do the editing.
