Life moves pretty fast. If you don't slow down you may miss it

I have been running around doing musical things for as long as i can remember. Some of these memories have been amazing. Some have just been good. Some have been down right Shit-Fuck. That I guess is the rollercoaster that is the Rock'N'Rolla.



This new chapter sees me finally doing what I have wanted to do since I started the musical circus, fronting a band. I wasn't sure if i was going to ever get round to it but where one door shuts another one often opens.

The Sunday Club - - - - - This afternoon/evening was created by my good self and Mr Tom Powell with a later addition of Mr Nathan "El Nino" Taylor back in 2007. It started as a fortnightly event but has now gone onto become weekly due to its success and demand. We use to feature Acoustic acts from all over the south and touring acts from around the country.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ We now do Bands as well and these have proved ridiculous with people having to climb on furniture to get in!! We start around 6.30pm rolling through till close with Dj's taking over from 10.00. With it all being free as well it has easily become the Best Location to head for on a Sunday in Portsmouth. Our resident Dj's SIDEONDAVE & The Kings of Chindie along with guest favourites The 1,2's and Mr Olic was also nominated for a guide award in 2008. Our 3rd b'day came and went in October and the Club is still getting better which makes it a great place to play. TRAP DOOR Promotions Stage @ SOUTHSEA FEST - September 19th 2009

This year lads and ladies we have been moved to a bigger venue although it is a little off the beaten track to the central hub of Little Johnny Rusell's & The Fat Fox area. Our line is bigger and better then last year with only 2 bands out of 15 returning. I can't give away the details yet as we like to play things a little close to the chest around booking time however I can safely say you won't be dissapointed with the end result. You might not even need to go anywhere else???? well maybe for a fag or the Bar!!!! A blog will follow shortly with all listings and times.
