After 3 good years, MASSIVE mis-communication, or any communication at all, Capeside has decided to call it quits. Never had the chance to tour, or record a full-length, but MANY have reached out to us, with gratitude of the message we conveyed in our music. We were there for people who lost those closest to them. Thank you to everybody who has extended that gratitude to us. And to everyone who ever came to a show or supported us and bought our CD's or T-shirts. Hopefully, we will get one last show to bury that hatchet between all members, and have the original lineup play one last hurrah. Once again, thank you to everyone. You made our little run at music incredible for me. Everyone go support the Capeside members in their remaining projects:

Alex: Now drumming in Baptized In Blood

Adam: Now doing lead vocals in Blood Venom

All the love in the world though to Arjun Sharma, for being a part of our family and playing bass for us in our dying hours. Those hours will never be forgotten.

Much Love.

CAPESIDE

***OLD BIOGRAPHY***

October of 2003 brought not only the change of season, but also the birth of the band now known as Capeside. Brought together through mutual friends, a genuine love, and passion for creating music, the chemistry was there, and unbreakable friendships were born. As with most bands, every member of the band brings their own flavor, and musical forte with them, mixing everything from Chris and Scotts love for classic rock, emo and punk bands, to the metal and hardcore bands that Adam and Alex have grown up with.

With a hard-hitting, emotional EP, filled with personal recounts of loss, and suicide, Capeside has joined forces with The Blackmarket Army to form what is now known as The Punks For Life Foundation, an organization of bands, clothing companies, and local promoters that raise money for The Kids Help Phone. Thus far in only two local shows, Punks For Life has raised over $7000, this number is only magnified more by the fact both venues only had a capacity of 400 people each.

Suicide is one thing we will always fight. But along with that, they have also raised over $5000 collectively, for the Canadian Cancer Society, and have been involved in other great benefits such as the Canadian Diabetes Association. As well, with their friends at Summercamp Productions, held a benefit show in dear memory of Sean Abel who sadly lost his life in a car accident. All proceeds went to the Abel Family in assistance to the funeral costs. Sean was an avid local music supporter, and will be sadly missed.

Now, only half a year after the debut album, A Thousand Silent Voices, was released, the single 'Atlantis Lost' is now being played on corporate radio, and being sold by independent record stores across Ontario, and people are noticing. A true understanding of respect, for all genres of music, is one thing all members of Capeside believe in, and will always follow.

Music is life

Life is music.

Capeside Loves You.
