"Let's face it," explains Capehart's bassist, Mike Torres, "when some people hear that you're a pop-rock band they assume you are less authentic version of rock. Our goal is to prove them wrong."
Capehart is a punch guitar powered vehicle driven by harmonic vocals and respect for melody. "We are what we eat," confesses lead vocalist/guitarist Jason, "We love to turn up the volume and sing along to fist pumping, hard rock vocals like Foo Fighters or mellow rock like Jimmy Eat World." With Capehart's new album, "So The Story Goes," the guys intend to bridge the gap between teenie-boppers and mature rock enthusiasts. Capehart's MySpace friendly track "My Medicine" provides a vocal anthem for the Twitter kids with a chunky, hard-hitting breakdown for 80's Pop Metal fans. While "The Breeze" will please piano rock junkies, "In My Sights" is a louder treat for the moshing connoisseur.
