In an industry clouded by thoughtless projections of greed, lust and lack of consciousness, Candace Meyer is a causeway within the agape structural ordinances of the music industry as we know it.

Truth Music. What's wrong with that?

Probably a lot, if you have strings attached to your limbs.

She wants us to WAKE UP.

And that, we shall. as we're cooking breakfast, jamming to her notes.

Born in Manhattan, raised ALLTHEWHERE. Candace Meyer prides in the uniqueness of her entity.

Being raised with a mother's background in Broadway and a father's influence in videography and production, she really didn't know any life other than that of an artist's.

Being "in-tune" with the "other side" has been a way of life since Candace's toddler days. Her Great-Grandmother was a spiritual medium and the gift has seemed to pass itself down the women's side of the family. As a child, Candace used to tour around the country with her mom in various theatre productions and started early on with a passion for healing the battered dancers and strained vocalists.

In time, she grew from being the star's princess into her own nested individuality. At 14, Candace dove into hip hop and started writing rhymes paired with soulful melodies that seemed to never quite fit into any box. she didn't want it in a box. it defeated the purpose of her escape. Years passed, "shit happened" and to say the least. she became a wanderer. Family became the street's misfits and the feeling of "home" was a vague and bitter-sweet recollection. The people who meant most to her fell in the fiery barrels of addiction and the only thing that kept her living was her deeply seeded knowledge that her ability to create music was a gift that couldn't have been given in vain.

Ask her yourself. Ultra 2006 and a mass amount of drugs changed her life.

The first epiphany of many. Ms. Meyer realized that there was more to her music's capability than just thrashing out her pain over heavy, dark booms and baps. Dance music welcomed itself with such huge, warm open arms. Everyone seemed to understand and respect one and other with a very new, yet strikingly familiar way. The music was so dynamic and there was no box for her to run from. Everything just made sense. and continues, to this day, to be the place in her mind she goes to in order to let the creativity bubble. Whether it's Electro, Hip Hop, Dubstep, House, Drum and Bass or something else that doesn't even quite fit into a category. Candace Meyer will bring it to life.

"Too many artists get discouraged and stop gripping down on their dreams. or they let complications become a scapegoat to justify stagnant progress. If you're guna talk, do it while you're walking. I had to start all over - more than once - but I couldn't and wouldn't let that keep me from moving forward! It's a new chapter every moment! Speak the truth and the truth shall be!!"
