Where I'm At from galactus 22 on Vimeo.

If you're serious about making creative intelligent hip hop with something to say, and you want me to be involved in your project contact me with a fair and reasonable offer.

I'm a Producer/MC/DJ from Massachusetts. As one half of the group Raw Produce, I've been making independent hip hop records since 1991. We've released several 12"s, 3 EPs and 2 full length albums. I've also released 2 solo albums and a production album, as well as 2 mix CD's (as DJ Cade-Money,), along with production work and guest appearances with a variety of artists. I'm a also a member of the group Altrenate Reality consisting of me and Dumi Right of Zimbabwe Legit.

I make my own beats, write my own rhymes, do my own scratches, and record and mix my my own songs. My goal is to make intelligent, creative hip hop--the kind of songs that made me love this music when I was growing up.

I'm also the proprietor of Pro Se Recordings. The latin phrase Pro Se (for self) is commonly used to refer to people who go to court as their own lawyer--in other words they "represent themselves." That exemplifies the spirit behind the label. In the fall of 2007 pH Music/Pro Se Recordings released Zimbabwe Legit's album House of Stone. and in summer of 2008 released Saint's About Time on Pro Se/Domination Recordings.

I have worked with Mike G (Jungle Brothers), Prince Po (Organized Konfusion), O.U.O./Zimbabwe Legit, Yesh (a.k.a. Yeshua DapoEd of Wee Bee Foolish), Quite Nyce, Breez Evahflowin', Dooley-O, Binkis Recs., Mike Ladd, DJ Revolution, and a bunch of other talented underground artists. I've also worked with a number of artits from the Boston area hip hop scene, such as 7L & Esoteric, Akrobatik and Mr. Lif. Music I produced has also been featured on ESPN's "The Life."

Hip hop is music, it's art, it's creative, it's politics, it's current events. It's not what you hear on mainstream radio or MTV. It's not about trends and materialism and re-hashing old ideas. It's a powerful form of communication.
