The band was founded in 2003 by Paride Mercurio (all vocals) and Rosario Piazza (lead & rhythm guitar)
as project inspired to the American Death Metal school.
During the following years, Marcello Triolo (bass guitar) joined the initial line-up.
In October 2006, the band began the recording of the first full length album at "21nesimo Livello" and "Raven Studios" in Palermo (Sicily).
The album was then published in 2007 with the title of "Carnasyum",
a concept based on human perversions, madness, and also gore and porno-splatter themes enhanced with forensic medicine topics.
In this scenario, each song describes a different room within an old and derelict facility (the Carnal-Asylum)
where different characters tell their stories of torture and deviance.
Later in 2007, Tony "Pulmanino" (lead & rhythm guitar) and Giorgio Piparo (drum) completed the band line-up.
This line-up worked on the following project "Nechronicles",
initially scheduled as the second full length, and released two new tracks in 2008 (Putrid Meat Walking and Rotten Flesh Puppet).
This time, the band took a new direction firmly focused on Technical Brutal Death Metal rather than old school. After Rosario left in 2009,
Danile Gruppuso took part into the recording of 3 of 5 the tracks contained in "Nechronicles", which was released as EP the same year.
The concept behind Nechronicles describes a novel interpretation of classic horror themes such as zombies and pandemic contagion.
In 2010, the band signed for "Spew Records" and Daniel was replaced with Giovanni Sciortino.
In September 2011 the band has released the first official video containing a new song (Mouth Crasher) that will be part of the new album: MDK.
In 2012 Giorgio Piparo (drums) left the band and was replaced by Lorenzo Reina, that is currently involved in definition of the new album's tracks.
Thus far, Cadaver Mutilator played along with Sinister, Dismember, Defeated Sanity, Avulsed, Emeth, Horrid, Natron, Nefas,
Corpse Fucking Art, Cripple Bastards, Suffocation and many more.

La band è stata fondata nel 2003 da Paride Mercurio (all vocals) e Rosario Piazza (lead & rhythm guitar),
come progetto ispirato alla scuola americana Death Metal.
Negli anni successivi, Marcello Triolo (bass guitar) si è unito all'iniziale line-up.
Nell'ottobre 2006, la band iniziò la registrazione del primo album "21nesimo Livello" e "Raven Studios" di Palermo (Sicilia).
L'album è stato poi pubblicato nel 2007 con il titolo di "Carnasyum", un concept basato sulle perversioni umane, la follia,
il porno-gore e lo splatter, migliorato con argomenti di medicina legale.
In questo scenario,ogni canzone descrive una stanza diversa all'interno di un edificio vecchio e abbandonato (the Carnal-Asylum),
dove diversi personaggi raccontano le loro storie di tortura e di devianza.
nel 2007, Tony "Pulmanino" (lead & rhythm guitar) e Giorgio Piparo (drum) hanno completato la band line-up.
Questa line-up ha lavorato al progetto successivo "Nechronicles",
inizialmente previsto come album completo.
nel 2008 esce il promo (Putrid Meat Walking and Rotten Flesh Puppet).
Questa volta, la band ha preso una nuova direzione più tecnica e moderna passando dal death metal di vecchio stile al più moderno brutal death metal.
nel 2009 rosario piazza lascia la band, sostituito da
Daniel Gruppuso che ha preso parte alla registrazione di 3 su 5 tracce contenute in "Nechronicles",
che fu pubblicato come EP nello stesso anno.
Il concetto alla base di Nechronicles descrive una nuova interpretazione di temi classici dell'orrore come zombie e contagio pandemico.
Nel 2010, la band ha firmato per "Spew Records" e Daniel gruppuso è stato sostituito con Giovanni Sciortino.
A settembre del 2011 la band ha rilasciato il primo video ufficiale ,contenente una nuova canzone (Mouth Crasher) che farà parte del nuovo album M.D.K
Nel 2012 Giorgio Piparo (batterista) lascia la band e viene sostituito da Lorenzo Reina che partecipa attivamente alla
definizione dei brani del nuovo album.
In questi anni i cadaver mutilator hanno condiviso il palco con Sinister, Dismember, Defeated Sanity, Avulsed,
Emeth, Horrid, Natron, nefas, cazzo Arte Corpse, Cripple Bastards, Suffocation e molti altri.
