The Buttmuffins are a four-piece punk.ska band who began in the fall of 2005 in an attempt to cope with their irksome suburban Montreal existance. Short after they released their first EP, they followed it up one year later with another. Both Demos were entirely DIY and encompass the band's frustration with the absurdly suburbanized and moloch lifestyle that they have inherited. Throughout their carreers they have had the opportunity to share the stage with many familiar ska and punk acts including The Flatliners, The Johnstones, Ill Scarlet, Keepin' 6, Bomb The Music Industry!, Trip The Off, and Hold A Grudge.
