Welcome to The Space That Is Mine. I'm Butch Young, and these are my home demos -- greatly assisted by the collaborators listed above. This collection is an ongoing work-in-progress. Once we're finished recording we'll have them properly mixed, mastered and released. These are just some temporary mixes for the time being. My previous recordings were produced by Richard Barone (The Bongos), Richard Bosworth (The Knack) and Chris Carter (Dramarama). Former recording collaborators include Berton Averre (The Knack), Phil Jones (Tom Petty), Rick Rosas (Neil Young), John Easdale and Mark Englert(Dramarama), Edan Everly (Everly Brothers) and Nick Celeste (Richard Barone). I've had tracks on the last few International Pop Overthrow compilations (Volumes 9, 10 & 11 / Not Lame Records) and joined Dwight Twilley in providing backing vocals to the Dramarama album, "Sci Fi Lo Fi" (Rhino Records). More recently, I appeared in Spin Magazine and contributed a few chords (3 total) to the "Factory Girl" film soundtrack. Listeners are encouraged to post a comment and/or join me in The Book of Face.
