Burnt Shadows

Arising from the rainy depths of Seattle comes Burnt Shadows. A deeply diverse and complex metal band that formed in early 2004. This five piece blends devastating guitar riffs, monstrous drumming, pounding bass and explosive vocals into some of the most unique and raw metal the Seattle area has to offer. It is an act that revisits the murder cry and blast beast of Acid Bath, while channeling the downright haunting thrash of Slayer. The band is made up of Brandon Eckert on vocals, Craig Saner on guitar, his cousin Dan Moore on guitar, Dans brother Dave Moore playing bass and Tony Mitchell hitting the drums. In October of 2004 Burnt Shadows went into the studio to record their first 4 song demo, tilted, One Last Breath, at The Autopsy Room in Tacoma, Wa. Throughout the coarse of 2005 they handed out over 1000 copies of that demo. In December 2005 they re-entered the same studio, to record 3 new tracks. These 3 tracks and two remixed old tracks were used as our first E.P. Titled Await The Destruction", released January 2006.The opening track The End of the Rising Sun received airplay by numerous stations. Burnt Shadows is continuously working on new material and looking to make their sound heavier and more raw. Metal is once again on the rise and we are here to help take it there.
