buRne originated in 00 as a 2 man acoustic band pumpin out originals and bar tunes as a way of life. A slight pause was drawn in 03 due to paths that needed to be traveled. In 06, they decided it was time to keep on. Turning to a full ensemble they are currently playing shows throughout the northeast. The different styles each bring to the table translates into a unique and raw sound and each and every show guarantees an energentic stage performance. buRne released their first full length CD, "surface", (self produced) in early 2009. Their local success and loyal fanbase has helped land them performances with national acts, most recently opening for Korn at the Meadowbrook Pavilion in Gilford, NH in May of 2009.
We are currently hanging out behind the scenes for a while but plan to emerge again in 2010 with renewed energy and focus. Thanks to everyone who has checked out this profile, listened to our music, and continue to support us show after show.
